Xtreme Camp 2006

Frontline...that was the theme for this years camp. I believe it was the best camp we have ever had. Aaron Cavin is an amazing speaker who not only get's God's word across but also expands your vocabulary. (ie turdlette, ruff) Our worship was awesome because of the huge hearts of Ornan's floor, who aren't all about them and thier band bieng exalted, but are all about lifting up the name of Jesus. We also had Mike & Angela from BBC down and they were two of the best examples any college could ever ask for. They we willing to serve, willing to have fun, lead a small group, do some challanges, and even present the school, they were awesome and I look forward to having them again next year. Jason did a good job putting some games together, and Darrin's small group ciriculum was awesome. Kenneth and I had a blast MCing the camp and I had fun making kids puke with my gross games. Bryan did a great job making the camp run smoothly once we got there, and overseeing everything. Matt was the man making our finances somehow come out ok, and making sure the inflatables, Bob Smiley, and Skitzo were there and taken care of. Bob and Skitzo did a great job with the late nite entertainment, and the inflatables were a blast, and Mike and Angela did awesome stepping up when we got rained out Wednesday night and filling in for us with some challanges. All of our small group leaders did great too. And my special forces teens were all awesome leadership material, and I think they will help to fan the flame in thier youth groups. It was one of if not the best camp ever and I am looking forward to next year. We had mumerous salvations, rededications, and surrenders, plus a lot of kids decided to stop bieng Clark Kent and start bieng superman. I personally got to see one of my young men get saved, 2 of my guys surrender to full time service, and almost the whole group on Thursday decided it was time to make some changes. Just pray with me for my church and the other 5 that it's not fake emotional decisions but real life changing ones. And since we are on the frontline we pray that all stand beside us, but if not that they would step aside and let us move forward for God.

Spring Retreat Update

Our Spring Retreat Went Awesome! There was one saved, and we had no problems at all. Also our group had a powerful spirit filled devotion on Friday Night. Praise God for all He has done!

Wednesday, April 12, 2006

We have our spring retreat this weekend. We are going to Aspendale Baptist Camp near Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Pray for it to be a fun time of growing closer to God and each other, and that we have a blast doing it!
